Arguing the discard of organs in CARREL

چکیده

In this paper we introduce the use of Argumentation in an experimental Agent-mediated platform – named CARREL—in the field of organ transplantation. Our aim is to introduce the use of Case-Based Reasoning in Argumentation when an extraction team is about to discard an organ to learn about the process and if possible to suggest an alternative assignation. This is an attempt to use technology to lower the level of discarded organs.
